Redcastle Furze Primary School is a successful school that works hard to meet the needs of all children. Our primary aim is for the children to enjoy their time here, learning through a wide and varied curriculum that provides real life context and experiences. This learning also goes beyond the curriculum, enabling the children to develop into self confident, well motivated individuals with the ability to make positive contributions to the community.
As parents you have an essential role in your child’s education; working in partnership with the school and supporting its aims and objectives. At the centre of this partnership is a dialogue between home and school so that there is good communication, not just when there are concerns but also when there are successes to be celebrated.
Starting a new school can be very worrying for both children (whatever their age) and parents; here at Redcastle Furze we try to ensure that this is a friendly and easy process that allows the child to settle quickly and feel happy and comfortable in their new surroundings.
Experienced and supportive members of staff are the foundation of this school. Both teaching and support staff are sympathetic to the demands and needs of children. Our systems are very successful in smooth integration of all children joining our school. All children are treated the same and our high expectations apply to everyone. Equality of opportunity is a right every child receives.
